Hello, my name is Daisy Mae. I heard a rumor that you're looking for a beagle to complete your family. I can't believe the coincidence, but I am a beagle looking for a family! I'm already both house trained and crate trained... isn't that great? I even know the command "sit." I'm looking forward to being a part of a family and learning more every day.

I am an expert on good food. Whenever there is food around, I insist on checking it out. Hey, let me taste that! I'm starving! Okay, so I know I'm not really supposed to jump on the table looking for snacks, but it smells so good! My foster mom is teaching me to have better manners when there is food around! She will tell you that I have learned a lot and have made great progress. She also have some good tips for my new family!

One of my favorite things is wandering around the yard with my nose to the ground. I don't know why humans don't do this. Don't they know all the information you can get from a few carefully placed sniffs. Once I have sniffed, then I'm ready to nap in the grass. Such a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. I also like toys I can chew on, especially if they squeak. Must. Kill. Squeaker.

A few things do startle me. Loud noises are a good example. Sometimes thunder might scare me, but a few cuddles and I'm perfectly fine. Thank you so much, I feel much better now. Nothing is more comforting than a good hug. Humans are the best huggers. That is one of the reasons I think people are awesome.

I love getting attention from my humans. If someone comes into the house, I will stand in front of them and just howl... arrrooooooo. This usually gets their attention quickly so they will give me love. Chilling with my peeps is such a great way to spend the evening. After dinner, I just curl up with my foster parents and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle.
