Beagles of New England States (B.O.N.E.S.) has a mission to rescue, rehome, spay/neuter, and provide necessary medical care to beagles in need in the New England area.
We cannot do this alone. It takes many volunteers and it takes money. We have volunteers that handle intake, foster homes, adoption counseling, writing newsletters, managing websites, arranging transports from one end of New England to the other (and sometimes beyond). We have volunteers to organize events, deal with state regulations, keep track of our finances for IRS reporting and other folks that need the information, write grants, and more and more. We even have someone that keeps track of the hours our volunteers spend each month because the government wants it. Each and every one of these folks are greatly appreciated - overworked but very appreciated!
But as we said, money is also needed. Many organizations need money and in this day and age, it is so hard to donate to all charitable groups. Each of us must have a long list of organizations we know could use money but we only have so much to give.
We have many ways to donate but very few ways to say thanks. One way is to publicly state our appreciation. Here it is:
THANKS!! THANKS!! THANKS!! to all of you that take the time to donate whatever you can. Every donation helps, no matter the size. These folks have donated and we love them for it.
Donations through our General Fund
Donations through our Annual Appeal
