Good with kids over 4

This little gal is Bridget. She's an 8 year old beagle who loves to be with people. Bridget was picked up as a stray, so we don�t know anything about her background; but we do know she loves kids as well as adults. She spent some time in a home with small children and enjoyed their company.

Bridget walks well on a leash and appears to be house trained. She definitely would be a great addition to a family with kids as the only canine in the home. Bridget prefers to be the Queen so a home without other dogs is highly recommended. We are unsure about cats right now as her foster home does not include felines.

**UPDATE** March 13, 2010
Little Bridget underwent surgery a week ago for a large mass behind her left shoulder; she has a six inch suture, staples and all. Luckily for Bridget the results of the biopsy were negative–not a tumor. The mass exhibited necrosis, they suspect, from some old trauma.
